Wellness Retreat

 San Pancho, Mexico

March 28-April 3, 2026

Join us for this week-long immersion
into nature, community and transformational practices.

We are so excited to invite you to Mexico for this 4th year together!

Imagine a getaway that goes beyond the ordinary, a retreat that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit, and offers so much more than beautiful beaches and warm sun (but that, too!!)

More than a vacation, it’s a transformational experience.

Together, on the Pacific coast of Mexico, we’ll gather in a stunning eco-lodge nestled between lush jungle and the ocean’s edge. Here, we’ll give ourselves permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters. In this sacred natural setting, we’ll step into deeper balance, inner clarity, and whole-body wellness. We’ll return to a sense of presence within ourselves, supported by the land, the community, and the gentle rhythms of nature.

It is the perfect time to gently reset, replenish, and brighten your whole being.

This experience is designed to be grounding, playful, restorative, and immersed in nature. Enjoy all-level yoga, guided meditation, heart-centered practices, and other nourishing modalities that include the option to participate in a traditional Temazcal ceremony (sweat lodge). You’ll also have plenty of time for rest, adventure, exploration, and connection. Not to mention optional excursions, a local market and massage services!

We hope you will join us for this deeply rejuvenating and unforgettable journey.

Our theme

Deep connection.

Rejuvenation.

Whole-self nourishment.

This retreat is an invitation to reconnect with yourself and with the elemental wisdom of nature in a way that feels grounding, spacious, and deeply healing. With a splash of playfulness.

Imagine waking up to a symphony of jungle sounds, sunlight filtering through the trees, and the gentle hum of life all around you. What if you let this land, and the practices we share, remind you of the steadiness, clarity, and natural connection already living inside you?

Through accessible yoga, guided meditation, healing movement, breathwork, and heart-centered practices, we’ll open the body and energy pathways, soothe the nervous system, and create space for inner and outer connection. These gentle, supportive practices invite you to unwind, release what’s been weighing on you, and return to a more nourished, centered version of yourself.

Come as you are.

Together in community, we’ll explore themes of presence, spirituality, and connection, staying rooted in a holistic approach to mind, body, and soul. You’ll also have the option to experience a Temazcal, a traditional Mexican sweat lodge ceremony that supports cleansing, renewal, and grounding.

Connection here tends to happen naturally, whether through shared laughter, meaningful conversations, quiet solo time, refreshing dips in the ocean nearby, or playful moments of exploration. As you settle into this harmonious environment, you may notice your heart softening, your body unwinding, and your inner world coming forward with more lightness and ease.

This retreat invites you to nourish every part of yourself,
to experience wellness as something alive and joyful,
and to reconnect with nature, community, and your own inner wisdom.

Come exactly as you are.
Let the land hold you.
And allow this time to gently reset, replenish, and brighten your whole being.

Ceremony: Mexico 2026

Ceremony: Temazcal

As an option, we include in your retreat the powerful opportunity to experience a local ceremony held in a traditional space.

The temazcal is one of the oldest ceremonies on this continent. It is a purification ceremony where we return to the origin of life. It takes place in a space that represents our mother's womb, to which we return to recover the memory of our being and all our relationships. Within this space, we become aware of our own life, purifying and strengthening ourselves with the heat and the medicine of the ancient stones and burnt water.

It is a guided ceremony where, through fire, water, air, earth, and the vibration of words and song, we experience the miracle of life.

The work is physical: we sweat, purify, and detoxify, while all our systems are strengthened.

Mentally, we practice quieting the mind, relaxing, and entering a deeper level of meditation. Emotionally, we open the door to healing from the root, allowing emotions to flow and freeing ourselves from all burdens. On a spiritual level, finding ourselves vulnerable in a safe space, where we can reconnect with the supreme being that dwells in everything.

Transport & Logistics

When choosing a location, we always keep an eye on flights! We chose Tailwind Jungle Lodge because it’s easy to find direct flights from either Montreal or Boston. Traveling from Burlington is also possible and affordable that time of year. You may want to consider arriving a day in advance, or leaving a day after for more spacious travel- flight prices are dynamic right now!

The retreat center is located in located approximately 30 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, just outside of the town of San Pancho—about a 1 hour drive north,  just outside of Bahia de Banderas (Bay of Flags) in the state of Nayarit.

There will the option to participate in organized shuttles from Puerto Vallarta airport based on the group’s travel needs, which is not included in the retreat price. Travel time from the airport to Tailwind Jungle Lodge is about 60 minutes.  You are welcome to rent a car if you prefer, and recommendations can be provided/discussed.

Earlier arrival is always better, yet it is totally possible to travel from home to the retreat in the same day! Check in time on March 28th is 3pm. Check out is by 11am of April 3rd (earlier check out/check in is available on request). With these being travel days and dependent on flight times, please don't stress about your arrival/departure times, most flights into Puerto Vallarta land mid morning to early afternoon, which will support getting to the retreat center on time. Let us know if you have any questions or need any guidance!

To enter Mexico, your passport* must be valid  for the DURATION OF YOUR STAY.

*The standard rule for most countries regarding passport expiration is valid for a MINIMUM of 60 days past your departure date, but ideally AT LEAST 6 MONTHS from the date you enter that country. Please check your passport and take action now if needed!
